Hello everyone and welcome to my weekly wishes where I set up my goals for the week. You can also participate to this link up by going to The Nectar Collective. This past weekend we finally entered Spring season! I was so happy and excited to think that temperatures were finally going to get warmer. My excitement didn’t last long…
Besides getting some snow over the weekend, it wasn’t all bad. I went to my first Blogger Boot Camp workshop at General Assembly. It was hosted by Allie Lochiatto from Allie Wears. It was a lot of fun. Allie is a lovely person, very accessible and very inspiring. She gave us a lot advice and even brought us cupcakes! I also got talk and listen to other bloggers from the Boston area who were very inspiring and creative as well. I don’t know if Allie plans on hosting this workshop again, but if she does and you are in the Boston area I would highly recommend that you go.
When it comes to my goals, this workshop has really made me think and I think I am starting to have an idea of what I want to do with this blog. I have a few design ideas, but it’s going to take me some time and I need to be patient.
Last week my goals were:
o keep doing 30 minutes of code per day. Yes!!! I kept doing it. I still feel very confused about certain things but I am slowly understanding more.
To implement the new categories. Done! Finally!!! Although I am already rethinking them.
- Install Disqus. I haven’t done this yet because I am thinking about changing where I host my website. I am currently on Digital Ocean and even though it’s very good, it is too complex for me.
For next week I don’t have too many goals. I am mainly brainstorming about the purpose of this blog.
- To keep brainstorming on the purpose and concept of this blog.
- To switch hosting providers.
- To keep doing my coding lessons.
How was your week? What service do you use as a hosting provider? Are you happy with it? Also what do you look for in a blog? Let me know in a comment below!
